SNY bamboo scarves feature designs that Ada (the founder) first conceives and then transfers onto the fabric.
Woven in Poland from a blend of bamboo and cotton yarns, they are lightweight, soft, and pleasantly warm. Designs range from carnations, florals, and checks to diamonds, pastel blue, and tri-color combinations. Some are reversible, allowing a single scarf to offer two different moods.
Wrap yourself in one during an autumn walk, drape it over your coat, or wear it as a wrap on cooler evenings.
About the Atelier
My name is Ada and I create SNY for you. Believe it or not, I dreamed of being a sailor throughout my childhood, and I fulfilled that dream… Sailing the seas and oceans as a navigator, I explored the world. Later, I gave up the sea, started learning drawing, and finally applied to the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where I studied Fashion Design. Besides design, I fell in love with painting the most. I started dreaming again, this time about my own fashion brand.
WHY WAS I INTERESTED IN SUSTAINABLE FASHION?
While sailing around the world, I saw mountains of plastic, in the water, on land, and on beaches… I was horrified by the amount and the sheer extent of our environment's pollution (it's not as visible in Europe).
I also learned about the damage the fashion industry is doing to our planet. I didn't want SNY to harm nature, but at the same time, I didn't want to give up on my dream. I realized that sustainable fashion and a local, responsible brand were my true dream. That's how SNY concept was born.
